Neco Heavy Engineering & Castings Ltd was founded in the year 1987, The company is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. We are a renowned firm that is engaged in the manufacturing of a huge range variety of Steel Plant Products, Construction components, Engineering components, Fabrication Products, Refractory Products, Security Products, Manhole Covers, etc. 

Iron and steel products are manufactured by the Steel Plant Division in India for the Automotive, Engineering, Power, Railways, Bearings, Structural, and Fasteners Industries. Through the blast furnace and the Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) routes, JNIL-Steel Plant Division has installed production capacities of 700,000 MTPA and 300,000 MTPA, respectively. Specialty Steels are among its items: Rounds and squares of hot-rolled bars, coils of wire rods, and flats of high-strength leaf springs

Sanitary castings were produced by the foundry for Middle Eastern markets. In the 1960s and early 1970s, the factory experienced tremendous growth under Shri B.L.Shaw’s direction. However, Mr. B.L. Shaw was forced to scale back the Unit as a result of the Naxalite movement in Bengal in the 1970s, which resulted in widespread violence and disruptions when carrying out any kind of business. He moved his headquarters to Nagpur in 1976 due to the favorable business climate, and he reopened Nagpur Engineering Company Limited from the MIDC (Hingna Road) location. This factory started out making castings for construction and later expanded into making castings for Indian railways.
