2-POTASSIUM FELDSPAR

Potassium Feldspar is an abundant rock-forming mineral that usually ranges from off-white, or pink to pale-colored. It is known as a natural source of potassium oxide (K₂O), Sodium Oxide (Na₂O), and Aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃)

Usage:

Given their alumina and alkali content, Feldspars are mostly used in industrial applications. It is used in all types of ceramic bodies & glaze.

3-MICA

Mica is a shiny silicate mineral with a layered structure.

The mica group of sheet silicate (phyllosilicate) minerals includes several closely related materials with nearly perfect basal cleavage. All these materials are monoclinic, with a tendency towards pseudohexagonal crystals; they are also similar in chemical composition.

Where is it found?

Mica is widely distributed and it occurs in igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary regimes. It is typically mined from granitic pegmatite.
