About Us

SRS Alloys Private Limited well equipped steel foundry with its factory located at Hirehalli Industrial Area, about 60kms from Bangalore on Bangalore – Mumbai national highway.

SRS Alloys is basically an alloy steel foundry manufacturing carbon steel, corrosion resistant, heat resistant and wear resistant steel castings as per national and international standards. SRS Alloys was started in the year 1999 with the main objective of providing quality steel castings to various engineering industries.

SRS Alloys is managed by a enterprising team of experienced professionals who have a strong zeal to develop and upload technology. We certified  ISO 9001 2015 company verified and  approved vendor  by RDSO as Class A foundry. We are a complete customer driven organization and strive to satisfy customer requirements with an objective to meet quality, delivery schedule and economic cost. We can manufacture radiographic quality castings for critical applications. We have adequate resources in all aspects and hence are in a position to undertake any critical casting order with committed delivery schedule. We are approved vendor for M/s. BEML, M/s. Larsen and Toubro and Indian Railways – DLW, ICF, SWR

PRODUCTS

• We can develop and produce critical steel castings to customer satisfaction. We can produce steel and alloy castings to ASTM and IS standard or to any international standard specified by customer.

  • Furnace capacity – 1250Kgs / 600Kgs / 150Kgs
• We can supply Low alloy and high alloy steel castings ranging from Stainless steel to Inconel alloy in both Sand mould and Investment casting process.
• Sand Castings in the weight range of 10Kgs to 900Kgs
• Investment Castings in the weight range of 50gms to 10000gms
• We can supply castings in proof machined and fully machined condition ie in RTA ( Ready to assembly ) condition along with any surface treatment like acid pickling, fascivation, electro polishing, primer coating, Hot dip Galvanising and Zinc plating
• Heat treatment charge trays and fixtures as per customer design.

INFRASTRUCTURE

Facilities:

• Melting – The plants main heart, the furnace is a 450KW, 1000Hz medium frequency induction melting furnace of Inductotherm make with 150Kgs, 600Kg and 1250Kgs crucible
• Moulding – Our moulding process includes hand moulding using CO2 sand and chemically bonded sand.We have moulding boxes of various sizes ranging 520mm X 400mm to 2000mm X 1200mm. We can also fabricate suitable boxes based on the requirement for moulding. Compacting of moulding sand is carried out by pnuematic hammers.
• We also have facility to produce precision casting by LOST WAX PROCESS / INVESTMENT CASTING We can produce casting in the weight range of 50gms to 10.0Kgs by this process.
• Fettling – Fettling shop includes facility for arc cutting, gas cutting, arc gouding, swing frame grinders, flexible shaft grinders, shot blasting machine and pneumatic tools for grinding.
• Heat treatment furnace – Electric furnace – 3nos. Bogie type of capacity 800Kgs, 1500Kgss and 3000Kgs along with control chart recorders and required quenching facility.    Heat treatment and shotblasting of bigger size castings are carried out at sub contract sources.

• We also have arrangements for acid pickling, fascivation, electro polishing, primer coating, Hot dip Galvanising and Zinc plating
• Material handling: Two 5mt and two 3mt EOT cranes with two 1mt Jib cranes.
• Power: We have a connected load of 500 KVA along with captive power generation of 380 KVA.
