PSG and sons charities metallurgy and foundry division

The Eighty-Five years old PSG and Sons Charities at Coimbatore set up the foundry division in the year 1974, basically to cater to the engineering industries in India and abroad. With its wide range of sophisticated grey iron, SG Iron (modular/ductile) and Ni-hard castings of high integrity, the PSG foundry has carved a niche for itself in the global market.

The state-of-the-art equipment in the areas of moulding, melting, core making and testing like a High-Pressure Moulding Line, Induction Electric Melting Furnaces, Cold Box Core Shooters, Sand Mixers, Spectrovac, Image Analyzer and to crown it all an integrated CAD/CAM/CAE facility with Rapid Prototyping, Tooling and Quick-turn-around Die and Mould Machining facility lend synergy and competitive edge to the 600 tons a month production of high quality, high integrity castings in the PSG Foundry Division.

With an unstinted commitment towards high standards in quality and reliability, the ISO 9001:2008, ISO/TS 16949:2009 & ISO 14001:2004 certified foundry has been well recognized in the domestic and international arena.
