NICCO Corporation Limited was founded in the year 1942, The company is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. We are a well-known firm that is engaged in the manufacturing & service providing of a wide range variety of Wires & Cables, HT & MV XLPE Power Cables, LV PVC/XLPE Power & Control Cables, Kapton Covered Conductor, Building Wire (Electron Beam Irradiated), Electron Beam Irradiated Cables, Electron Beam for Colourisation of Diamonds, Electron Beam For Heat Shrinkable Tube, Electron Beam For Medical Sterilisation, Electron Beam for Gasket O Ring, Conductor/Cable Testing, etc. 

The national insulated cable company, the industrial development corporation of Orissa, and alfacavi/temaco, Italy, worked together to form the joint venture Nicco corporation (previously Nicco industries), which was founded in the early 1980s. Nicco corporation is a subsidiary of alfacavi/temaco. The company is a conglomerate with a wide range of products and locations. Cables (for power and telephone), projects, steel, and software are the primary divisions. Cross-linked polyethylene (XPLe) and PVC cables are prepared there. It also prepares steel wire rods, conductors, jelly-filled telecom cables, and wires.

Numerous mergers have been affected by the Nicco group. Nicco Steels, telelink Nicco, Fulminate Nicco, and Nicco Orissa were all promoted by the parent company, Nicco insulated cable company. The parent company and Fulminate Nicco were the first to merge, followed by Nicco Steels. Nicco corporation was the name of the new company. Nicco Industries was created when Nicco Corporation and Nicco Orissa merged later. After combining with Telelink Nicco, Nicco industries became the Nicco corporation. The ISO 9002 quality system certification has been granted to two Nicco corporation divisions and an associate company. The prestigious cii productivity award was given to Kalyani’s telecom cable division for maintaining high overall productivity levels from 1999 to 2000.
